Papermaking with Agricultural-Residue (Corn)

  • University of Illinois 2116 Griffith Drive Champaign, IL, 61820 United States (map)

The workshops last three hours and range in cost from $20-100 per individual. During this workshop, we will be utilizing fundamental papermaking techniques learned in Intro to Papermaking, but using pulp made from sustainable, locally sourced corn residue (the undesirable, inconsumable parts of the corn plant). You will learn from artist Meredith Hislope how to make your own paper using sustainable, regenerative practices. We also offer special pricing for groups of up to 10 people. Download our workshop guide.
